The Caribbean has some of the most beautiful and talented female singers in the world. In every sector of entertainment you can find women from the Caribbean making waves. Caribbean people have a sense of style and flavour that is unique and unmatched by other regions. For this reason we have choose to highlight some of the most beautiful female Caribbean singers. It must be noted that there are many women we believe should  be on this list for example Alison Hinds, Denise Belfon etc. however we chose to highlight a few new comers to the music scene.

Destra Garcia – Trinidad

First on our list this beautiful female Caribbean singer Destra Garcia,Trinidad born Soca Artist, is one of the most requested internationally for her signature high energy performances since her 1999 debut as a Soca entertainer and is showing no signs of slowing down — challenging herself every year, taking her music and her fans along for the exciting journey..

In 2003, Destra released Red White Black. The album spawns the massive hit — It’s Carnival — it sweeps masqueraders through the streets on Carnival Monday and Tuesday. The track also features vocals by Machel Montano. Whey Yuh Want and Choo Choo are also crowd favorites.

Destra has shared the stage with international superstars like the Heather Headley, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Ja-Rule, Rihanna, Mary J Blidge, Patti La Belle, Natalie Cole, Diana Ross, Gladys Knight and Stevie Wonder. Destra has won many awards and accreditations some of which include 13 Soca Awards and five COTT awards three of which were best female songwriter from 2004-2007 and best pan song 2006. She remains the most requested female Soca artists of the Caribbean and the world.

Despite her many accomplishments and busy work schedule she has always remained poised and elegant. With her beauty and  curves it should be no surprise why she made our list.

 

 

 

Nikita – Barbados

Nikita is a Barbadian singer. She comes from a family of singers being born into the Leacock family. Her aunt is Carolyn Leacock, her uncle James Leacock, and Jan who used to sing in Spice. Her educational background is in Tourism Management. Music is all she’s ever wanted to do and that’s what she’s currently doing which is a blessing. She’s also a broadcaster on Slam 101 FM.

Nikita seems to be a beautiful person inside and out with her good looks and talent we believe this beautiful female Caribbean singer will have a long and successful career.

 

Shenseea – Jamaica

Shenseea is a Jamaican reggae singer who went viral with her hit song “Loodi featuring Vybz kartel,” which received over one million hits on YouTube within the first week of it’s release. She first broke out into the music industry in September 2016 with her hit “Jiggle Jiggle.” She currently has a song called ‘Baddish’ with Nailah Blackman who is also in our list. Shenseea is very talented and we foresee a long career for her. Lets not forget to mention she is absolutely gorgeous and is definitely one of the most beautiful female Caribbean singers .

Spice – Jamaica

Grace Latoya Hamilton known professionally as Spice, is a Jamaican dancehall recording artist, singer and songwriter. In her early years she wanted to be a chartered accountant, however,she decided to pursue a music career. Following that, she enrolled at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts to study music and drama. She then began experimenting with dancehall music and soon after generated interest in her community with her deejaying ability at local stage shows.

Spice had her first major success with the controversial single “Romping Shop” with Vybz Kartel in 2009. Her debut EP So Mi Like It, which included the hit single of the same name, was released in 2014 through VP Records. In 2018, Spice joined the cast of VH1’s reality television series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta for the seventh season.

We believe Spice is the most creative female dancehall artist to date, her videos are always innovative and her production including her dancers always brings something unique to the genre.  She is one of the best female reggae artists to date. Above all she always looks flawless, she is thick and has beautiful dark chocolate skin.

Patrice Roberts – Trinidad

This beautiful female Caribbean singer Patrice Roberts is a Trinidadian soca singer and second cousin of singer Bunji Garlin. Patrice Roberts has also competed in the International Soca Monarch in Trinidad on several occasions. In 2006, she placed second alongside Zan with the track “Always Be” in the “Groovy” category. Her collaboration with Machel Montano, “Light it Up” placed 4th in the “Power” category in 2007. In 2008, she placed second in the “Groovy” category with her song “More Wuk. In 2006 she won the Road March competition with the song “Band of the Year” sung with Machel Montano.

Patrice is simply beautiful and is an excellent performer.

 

Nailah Blackman – Trinidad

Nailah Blackman is a Trinidadian soca artist and the granddaughter of Shorty and daughter of Abbi Blackman a talented calypsonian. She has a very unique voice that brings a different sound to the soca genre. Although her career has just begun she is making huge waves in the music industry. She had a massive hit for carnival ‘Work out‘ with Kes the band. Nailah has a bright future in sights.

Tessanne Chin – Jamaica

Tessanne Amanda Chin is a Jamaican recording artist, best known for winning Season 5 of NBC’s reality TV singing competition The Voice as part of Adam Levine’s team. She has opened for famous acts such as Patti Labelle, Peabo Bryson and Gladys Knight, and toured for three years with Jimmy Cliff. She is the younger sister of singer Tami Chynn and Terrie Chin.

During the Finale Results show, she was revealed to be the winner of Season 5 with Jacquie Lee as runner-up and Will Champlin in third place. After her victory was announced, she debuted her first U.S. single “Tumbling Down,” written by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. She is to date so far, the only foreign born contestant to win The Voice USA.

Amanda Reifer – Barbados

Karen Amanda Reifer is a beautiful female Caribbean singers and the lead of a four member band from Barbados called Cover Drive which has gained commercial success in the United Kingdom. They are best known as featuring artists in the Far East Movement’s hit single ‘Turn Up for Love’. Their album peaked at #14 in the UK. The band released their debut single “Lick Ya Down” on 28 August 2011. The single reached number 9 on the UK Singles Chart, making it their first Top 10 UK single. The song also reached number 3 on the UK R&B Singles Chart and number 11 on the Scottish Singles Chart.They have released their second single “Twilight” on 22 January 2012.

Amanda is a phenominal artist and songwriter and is definately one of the most beautiful female Caribbean singers.

Lylah – Guadeloupe

Lylah was born in guadeloup she is the former lead singer of a group “Les Deesses” (French for “The Goddesses). As every member of the group represents one goddess, Lylah represents Venus, the Roman goddess of beauty and love, because “she is a rare pearl with a sweet and warm voice which perfectly reveals her personality”

She started a solo career, releasing a single, “Ne t’arrête pas” (Don’t stop) and an album, “Avec ou sans toi” (With or without you). Lylah’s music mixes French-language R&B with zouk and Afropop sounds.

Rihanna – Barbados

No list regarding the most beautiful women from the Caribbean is not complete without Robyn ‘Rihanna’ Fenty. Without a shadow of a doubt Rihanna has had a major impact on the music industry and the fashion world. Over the years Rihanna has shocked and awed fans with raunchy outfits on stage, red carpet events and her private attire. Rihanna is simply gorgeous and continues to set trends with her bold sense of style. It was no surprise when  The Council of Fashion Directors of America named her the 2014 Fashion Icon of the Year. She follows in the footsteps of Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, Johnny Depp and Nicole Kidman.

In December 2014 it was announced that Rihanna would take over as creative director of the womenswear section of German sportswear company Puma. The now famous ‘creepers’ have been seen on the likes of Cara Delevingne, Travis Scott and Future. The fashion trainers sold out within hours. This exposure and shared love for the shoes helped the firm achieve a 11.5% rise in quarterly sales. This rocketed the usual figure to £679 million, with profits rising 2.6% to £8.4 million.

It is undisputable that Rihanna is one of the most beautiful female Caribbean Singers.
