Islandzest Refund Policy

Our aim is to offer quality services for our clients. In any case a client is not satisfied with our services they can choose to have a refund. When an order is placed on the website it takes 3 business days for the payment and item to process.

Once the customer requests a refund within these 3 business days a refund will be granted. All refunds take a maximum of 10 business days to process and it will be refunded to your account by direct deposit. If paid by credit card, refunds will be issued to the original credit card at the time of purchase.

Once the 3 day time frame has expired the customer will have to contact the seller directly. Sellers work with buyers to quickly resolve issues, but if a solution isn’t reached, we will assist where possible.

 

Refunds are granted by Islandzest under the following terms:

  • The item paid for is no longer in stock.
  • The item was never received.
  • The item received doesn’t match the listing description.

 

Refunds are not granted under the following terms:

  • Downloadable products, these include music, software, and video games once downloaded the item is non-refundable.
  • Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.
  • Buyers’ remorse or any reason other than not receiving an item or receiving an item that isn’t as described in the listing.

 

When a buyer doesn’t receive an item

If a buyer doesn’t receive an item, the buyer needs to report that they didn’t receive the item by contacting the seller. The seller should address the buyer’s concern and provide updates on the delivery of the item, tracking information, or a refund.

If the buyer isn’t happy with the seller’s response or doesn’t receive a response, the buyer can ask us to step in and help.

 

When an item doesn’t match the listing description

If a buyer receives an item that doesn’t match the listing description, the buyer needs to request a return from the seller. The seller should address the buyer’s concern and offer a solution, such as accepting a return, offering a replacement or refund.

If the buyer doesn’t receive a response or solution, or returns the item but doesn’t receive a refund or replacement from the seller, the buyer can ask us to step in and help.

If asked to step in and help, we review the item description, photos of the item, if provided by the buyer or seller, and any other information about the item that the buyer and seller provide.

 

When an item is returned to the seller

The buyer must return the item in the same condition in which it was received.

The seller is required to accept the return at the same location specified in the listing.

 

Refund timelines/Deadlines

Item not received

A buyer can report to IslandZest that they didn’t receive an item once the item’s latest estimated delivery date has passed, and for 7 days after the latest estimated delivery date.

For event tickets, a buyer must report that they didn’t receive the tickets no later than 1 day after the event date.

The seller has 3 business days from the report to respond to the buyer or offer a solution. If the seller does not respond or offer a solution, the buyer can ask us to step in and help.

If the buyer doesn’t ask us to step in and help within 30 days of reporting that they didn’t receive an item, the request closes automatically. (Special cases will be reviewed).

 

 

Item not as described

A buyer must request a return within the sellers return window.

For event tickets, a buyer must request a return no later than 1 day after the event date.

The seller has 3 business days from the request to respond to the buyer or offer a solution. If the seller does not respond or offer a solution, the buyer can ask us to step in and help.

 

Delivery Time

We offer a delivery service to customers once an order has been placed through the website. We are in the process of setting up the facility where persons can purchase items directly off the website via visa debit or credit card however, for the time being persons have to call and order . In this case where customers see items they desire we can be contacted via email or telephone to place an order. An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of the order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within 5 business days of the date of your order. Business days mean Monday to Friday, except holidays. Please note we do not deliver on [Sundays] unless under exceptional conditions which additional charges may apply. Date of delivery may vary due to delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate trips.
